About Capy QR
A small tool for making QR codes that don't look like an afterthought — and a SaaS for the people who need them to be editable, trackable, and branded.
Most QR code generators force you to either pick from three boring black-and-white styles or hand over an email address before you can download anything. Capy QR was built because that's a silly state of affairs.
What it does
Capy QR turns any URL, contact, Wi-Fi network, payment link, or one of eight other content types — twelve in all — into a QR code you'd actually be happy to print on a sticker, hang in a shop window, or stick on a business card. Custom colors, gradients, logos, dot styles, frame borders — and downloads in PNG, JPEG, SVG, or PDF up to 3200 px.
Sign up and you can also save designs to a library, organize them in folders, and turn URLs into dynamic QRs whose destination you can edit after printing — without changing the code on stickers, packaging, or signage. Paid plans add scan analytics and a custom short domain so your printed QRs use your brand instead of capyqr.com.

How it works (under the hood)
Static QR generation happens entirely in your browser. The QR rendering, the logo color extraction, and the export to PNG/JPEG/SVG/PDF all run locally on your device — the data inside your static QRs never gets uploaded to our servers, because we don't need it.
Dynamic QRs store only the destination URL on our side so you can edit it later. Scans go through a short Capy QR redirect (or your own custom domain on Starter and Pro), and the scan event logs country, city, OS, and device class — no raw IPs and no browser fingerprinting. Free keeps 7 days of analytics history, Starter 30 days, Pro a full year.
